Die Rauchfangkehrerinnung überbrachte traditionsgemäß dem Bundespräsidenten Weihnachtswünsche in die Hofburg und ”Glück” für das Neue Jahr

The Office of the Federal President of the Republic of Austria retains all image usage rights of photographs published in the photo archive at www.bundespraesident.at and whose copyright is marked with the name of the photographer and "/HBF“ (i.e. “Heeresbild- und Filmstelle,” the multimedia service of the Austrian Armed Forces) od “PRK” (i.e. Office of the Federal President of the Republic of Austria). These high quality photographs are available for download without payment of royalties when the correct copyright is credited.

For photographs whose copyright does not end with the abbreviation "HBF“ or “PRK” the Office of the Federal President retains the image usage rights for publication on www.bundespraesident.at but does not retain the rights to transfer to third parties. In this case, before the photograph is downloaded, authorisation must be obtained from the photographer or photo archive named in the copyright. In this case, accepting the terms of use only is not sufficient for publication.

Any alteration of photographs, such as reproduction of a portion of the image, alteration by electronic means or inclusion in another image, the publication of photographs in a context which distorts their meaning, or the sale of images to third parties is prohibited without the express authorisation of the Office of the Federal President.

The use of photographs of the Federal President for advertisements or campaign advertisements is not allowed.

Either a specimen copy or a link or a PDF file of each printed work and each online publication which contains photographic material from the photo archive of the Office of the Federal President must be sent to the Press Office of the Federal President, Ballhausplatz, 1014 Vienna, Austria, or to pressebuero@hofburg.at.

Vienna is the place of jurisdiction for any possible disputes arising from the use of the photo archive of the Office of the Federal President. (The image usage rights rest in Austrian law.)
